Red Lobster Announces Plan For New Restaurant In Las Vegas

Red Lobster, the world’s largest seafood restaurant company, has announced plans to open a new restaurant in the new Craig Camino complex being developed at 1500 West Craig Road in North Las Vegas.

The new restaurant will feature Red Lobster’s completely re-designed prototype, which includes a lighter, brighter look and feel, as well as lounge seating, a contemporary bar and a dedicated area to pick up To-Go orders. Red Lobster expects to break ground on construction this winter, with plans to open its doors to guests in Summer 2019.

“We are excited to expand in the Las Vegas market, which has been growing rapidly in the past few years,” said Kim Lopdrup, CEO of Red Lobster. “We see tremendous opportunity to continue growing our business as people eat more seafood. We look forward to serving even more guests and exploring more opportunities to expand in the future.”

The restaurant will be the fourth Red Lobster location in the Las Vegas area and the fourth new restaurant built from the ground up in the new design prototype, following openings in Columbia, Mo., San Juan, Puerto Rico and Maihama, Japan.

With this new opening in Las Vegas, Red Lobster will own and operate 705 locations across the U.S. and Canada. Red Lobster also has 45 franchised restaurants in nine other countries.
