Location on Ovilla Road gears up for June 29 grand opening
The countdown has begun in Red Oak for those legendary Snuffer’s burgers and Cheddar Fries, and the locals are already salivating.
Snuffer’s Restaurant & Bar is putting the finishing touches on its newest restaurant, located at 132 E. Ovilla Road in Red Oak, and will officially open its doors on Monday, June 29. The celebration begins at 10 a.m. when Mayor Alan Hugley joins representatives from the Red Oak Chamber of Commerce and Firebird Restaurant Group executives for the official “burger cutting” ceremony.
That’s right…In addition to the traditional ribbon cutting, the Red Oak celebrants will be slicing into a ceremonial 6 lb. burger, too. You don’t want to miss this!
To add to the excitement, the first 100 guests to visit the new Red Oak restaurant when it opens to the public at 11 a.m. will receive free Snuffer’s swag!
“I can’t tell you how excited all of us are to introduce Snuffer’s to the people of Red Oak,” said Travis Etheridge, general manager of the newest Snuffer’s. “Snuffer’s is one of Dallas’ most beloved restaurant brands, and we’re looking forward to becoming just as beloved here as well.”
Over the weekend prior to Monday’s opening, Snuffer’s will be hosting two VIP events to help train the staff while raising donations for Meals-on-Wheels of Johnson and Ellis Counties, a community-based nonprofit that provides home-delivered meals to more than 2,400 elderly and disabled persons each year.
“We have a tradition of using our grand opening training events as a platform to raise funds and awareness for worthy charities, and I’m really pleased to be supporting Meals-on-Wheels here in Red Oak,” said Etheridge. “Meals-on-Wheels is an outstanding organization and we hope to make a sizeable contribution through this weekend’s events.”
The newest Snuffer’s will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 12 midnight Friday and Saturday.
The Red Oak restaurant is nearly 3,600 square feet and seats 146 diners. It is the eighth location in the Snuffer’s system. But wait, there’s more! Another new location is in the works in Colleyville. It’s scheduled to open this fall.
