Restaurant News Bites: Applebee’s, Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, Benihana, Fleming’s, Outback

Applebee’s has added two new Sizzling Entrees to its menu with the Sizzling N’Awlins Skillet and Sizzling Chicken Fundido.  The Sizzling N’Awlins Skillet inlcudes blackened seasoned chicken, shrimp and andouille sausage with jambalaya (contains pork) and rice.  The Sizzling Chicken Fundido comes with grilled chicken breast, melted cheeses with crispy potatoes, sauteed onions and grilled peppers.

Beef ‘O’ Brady’s has added three new entrees – chicken, steak and combo fajitas.  The new sizzling hot plates will be available for both lunch and dinner and are served with warm flour tortillas, Beef’s signature salsa, cheddar and Monterey jack cheeses, sour cream and the option to add gourmet guacamole or seasoned rice.  Prices start at $10.99.

Benihana’s June Chef’s Specials include Filet Mignon & Chicken for Two, a five-course feast for $48, and Seafood Diablo for One, five courses for $20.  Both Chef’s Specials are served with Benihana’s signature onion soup, Benihana salad, a hibachi shrimp appetizer, hibachi vegetables, homemade dipping sauces, steamed rice and Japanese hot green tea.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar new Bar la Carte Menu, served exclusively in the bar, offers guests six all-new dishes available any time, any evening.  Options include Salt and Pepper Shrimp, Prime Steakhouse Meatballs, Fleming’s Original Prime Rib Melt, Filet Mignon Flatbread, Cedar-Roasted Mushroom & Artichoke Flatbread and the Housemade Burrata.

Outback Steakhouse is giving diners the power to customize their meal with new “Create Your Own Steak Dinner” options. Guests can enjoy their choice of a steak and a perfect pairing item with a dressed baked potato.
