Francesco Ochoa and his wife Lisa will take their artisan cheese production business to the logical next step with the first quarter opening of this casual café at 3350 Portland Road NE. Known locally for their line of Don Froylan line of cheeses they’ll create salsas and source fresh tortillas to complete the menu.
Charlotte, NC – Pins Mechanical Company
Rise Brands plans a first quarter opening of their “social house” concept at 307 W. Tremont Avenue. They will offer a variety of table games such as foosball and ping pong along with classic pinball and duck pin bowling. To quench gamer’s thirst the bar offers classic, crafted cocktails and house-brewed beers.
Lexington, KY – Roulay Restaurant and Bar
Chef Kelly Perkins Mackey will partner with Nick Lagagsorn to open this Louisiana-style full service eatery featuring influences from Cajun, Creole and French cuisines. The menu will be from scratch offering lunch, dinner and brunch complete with chicory coffee, beignets along with a rooftop bar.
Denver, CO – Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar
This Boulder-based seafood house will open their fifth location; however, you’re going to need a boarding pass as it’ll be inside the Denver airport upon their summer opening. Look for the same hot food menu favorites from their other locations along with freshly shucked shellfish at their signature oyster bar.
Vineland, NJ – The Brass Tap
Craft beer aficionados will have one more place to call home when this Tampa-based casual craft-casual concept opens by late January at 2738 South Delsea Drive. Boasting a collection of over 300 craft style beers with as many as 50 taps a full bar will be featured along with a limited menu and special events.
Wichita, KS – HomeGrown Wichita Eatery
This locally based casual breakfast and lunch concept will open this location at 1900 North Rock Road in March with another planned for summer of 2020. They join a proliferation of concepts of a similar nature with many items made from scratch such as breads, pastries, seasonal menu items and brunch drinks!
