Guests can enjoy their favorite global foods with a side of “social consciousness” when this fast-casual concept opens early March at 319 N. 1st. Avenue. The menu will offer a full bar, global-inspired street food to include chicken curry wraps, rice bowls, paneer bites served by a “$15/hour” paid staff.
Mansfield, TX – Dirty Job Brewing
The husband and wife team of Derek and Lashawn Hubenak will open their own brewery after a decade long passion of home-brewing to be located at 117 N. Main Street with an anticipated opening date of early March. The couple have won multiple gold, silver and bronze medal awards for their craft beers.
Decatur, AL – Green Leaf Thai Bistro
Chef Chuantian Chen believes so much in his sons’ business vision he moved from Seattle, WA to cook in their casual concept set to open at 1614 Beltline Road by the end of January. Son, Donald believes the combination of Thai and Sushi foods such as Pad Thai, crispy duck and a Decatur and Alabama rolls.
Franklin, IN – Big Woods Restaurant
Diners will have a meal with a view when this casual-fare operation opens at 1800 E. King Street this coming spring. Situated inside the Hillview Country Club and open to the public menu offerings will include house-smoked meats, pulled pork nachos and craft beers from sister-unit Quaff On! Brewing Co.
Richmond, VA – Anchor Bar
If the name sounds familiar perhaps you’re a buffalo-wing enthusiast and yes this is the original Buffalo, NY operation that created the spicy chicken wing! The opening has been delayed at 9202 Stony Point Parkway until the end of January when they’ll offer the salads, sandwiches and especially hot wings!
