New York, NY – Teremok
The first American location of a popular Russian cuisine fast-casual operator Teremok will be at 358 7th. Avenue slated to open in early 2016 with two more planned for late 2016.  The menu will feature buckwheat porridge and blini’s, crepes filled with savory and sweet fillings, which owner Mikhail Goncharov believes can be tailored to American palates.

Berkley, CA – Blue Bottle Coffee
Owner James Freeman will open the twenty-fourth unit of the popular coffee and pastry concept and it’s first in Berkley during the first quarter of 2016.  Blue Bottle evolved as an answer to the “pumpkin spice and eggnog latte” approach to coffee and ownership wants to provide approachable and clean coffee with a true coffee flavor profile.

Washington, DC – Alta Strada
Multi-concept owner Michael Schlow will open his new operation by mid-2016 at 465 K Street NW.  The Italian themed restaurants menu will feature traditional antipasti, pizza, pasta and traditional favorites.  The restaurant will occupy 4,000 sq. ft. with seating for 150 in the main space and an additional 50 seats on the outside patio.

San Antonio, TX – Café Dijon
Seasoned restaurant operators Bill and Barbara Harris will open their French cuisine unit at 555 E. Basse Road during the first quarter of 2016.  The menu will offer comfort food with a twist to include Beef Bourguignon, French Onion Soup and chicken crepes along with baked goods for Sunday brunch, daily lunch and dinner, seating will be around 100.

Chicago, IL – Moonlight Vulture
Partners Adam Paul and Alan Leeking will open their late-night custom and comfort sandwich unit at 2889 N. Milwaukee Avenue sometime in May, 2016.  The menu will be vegetarian-friendly with seafood, dairy, non-dairy, vegan burgers, baked fries along with a selection of fresh soups and salads with main area seating of around 30 with options on a patio.

St. Petersburg, FL – Hawkers
The Asian street food concept will open their third unit at 1235 Central Avenue with a proposed date of March 1.  The menu will feature share-able cuisine from China, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore with price points close to $6.50 / item.  The target market will include guests who are culturally aware, social-media literate with an adventurous palate.
