Michelin two-star Chef, Dominique Crenn, will open her Brasserie-style restaurant in the newly renovated Claremont Club at 51 Tunnel Road in early February. Her goal is to make hotel dining “elegant” again with traditional French cuisine dishes such as Cote de Boeuf and whole-roasted fish designed for the entire table to share.
Orlando, FL – El Meson Sandwiches
Caribbean style pork is one favorite offered by this new operator expanding with their second Orlando location at 8001 S. Orange Blossom Trail in early spring. Originally from Puerto Rico owner Felipe Perez-Grajales plans to open five eateries around Orlando offering favorites such as Media Noche, rotisserie chicken and for breakfast Meso Bistro.
Sheboygan, WI – Sprecher’s Restaurant & Pub
The Madison-based restaurant and brewery will open their newest location at 820 Indiana Avenue with a projected late spring opening. Along with their popular craft beers the new location will offer their traditional fare along with signature items such as their “Curd Burger”, the Wurst Platter and crowd favorite beer-battered cod Friday fish fry.
Alexandria, VA – Burton’s Grill & Bar
Owner Kevin Harron has tapped Dylyn Coolidge as Executive Chef at the new 200 seat casual eatery to be located at Hilltop Village Center with a slated opening of March. The menu will be chef-driven sourcing ingredients locally with some whimsical items such as deviled avocado, KimChi latkes, duck confit tacos and Philly egg rolls.
Austin, TX – St. Genevieve
Union Venture Group partners Jeff and Darren Van Delden will add to their multi-concept bar and restaurant group with the late February opening of this latest enterprise at 11410 Century Oaks Terrace. The menu will offer internationally inspired shared-plates and tapas with a Sunday brunch complete with Bloody Mary Bar.
Boston, MA – Ruckus Noodles
A late winter opening is slated for Shojo sister-concept with Chef Mark O’Leary to helm the kitchen of this twenty-seat casual concept at 5 Tyler Street. Noodle-style soups will dominate the menu plucked from Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisines to include items such as smoked fish-head soup and squid-ink cuttlefish balls.
