Denver, CO – American Bonded
Sean Kenyon will collaborate with Matchbox owners Justin Anthony and Lisa Vedovelli just across the street from the new Meadowlark Kitchen. They say it will be a classic neighborhood bar and kitchen with a focus on American food, whiskey, wines and beers. A spring 2015 opening is expected.
Houston, TX – B & R Butchers
Benjamin Berg will be opening his own Steakhouse with an on-site retail butcher shop. Plans call for a rooftop patio. This restaurant will be located in the historic Dittman Building.
Washington, DC – Bareburger
This chain has been eying the DC area since 2013. This will be the first location in this area for this New York chain that started expanding outside of NY in 2013. They are planning a June 2015 opening.
Boston, MA – Frank Pepe’s
Pepe’s is planning on opening a Boston location later this year. They have been voted the #1 Pizza in America according to the The Daily Meal’s 101 Best Pizzas in America. They also have plans of opening another 2-3 more location in Connecticut expanding their count to 12 locations.
Oakland, CA – Itani Ramen
Hopscotch Co-owner and executive chef Kyle Itani will be opening this new venture Just a few blocks away frmo his Hopscotch location. They will be open for lunch and dinner. Since the lease has just been signed they are anticipating a Fall 2015 opening.
St Petersburg, FL – Pie Topia
This will be a farm to table Italian Restaurant opening in downtown St Pete. They will have 100 seats and will feature local produce and fresh mozzarella cheese will be made in house. No hours or prices could be found but it is expected to be opening the end of March 2015.
