San Diego, CA – As yet to be named restaurant.
This unnamed restaurant will be located in the former China Inn location. Mark Oliver is the new owner who says this restaurant is going to be a concept that is more upscale than most restaurants are that service Pacific Beach. They plan on opening sometime in the fall of 2015.
Chicago, IL – Bar Siena
Work continues on the Bar Siena project from Top Chef alum Fabio Viviani and DineAmic Group (Siena Tavern, Bull & Bear) inside the former Dragonfly Mandarin space at 832 W. Randolph St. It’ll be more casual than Siena Tavern in River North. They’re targeting a summer open and will have sidewalk seating.
Louisville, KY – Bootleg Bar-B-Q
This will be a new construction project on the same property that its original store has operated since 1991. The new restaurants will seat at least 100 patrons. Currently about 70-80% of the business is from carry out due to its small size of only 750 Sq Ft of space. They play on opening the new store by the end of this year!
Columbus, OH – Brew Brothers
A new microbrewery with a restaurant, stage and outdoor patio is coming to Scioto Downs Racino. This project is attempting to attract a wider range of patrons to their gambling venue. This is a $5.9 million project expected to open in September 2015.
Littleton, CO – Farmhouse Restaurant at Breckenridge
The Farmhouse, Breckenridge Brewery’s new restaurant and tasting room, is slated to open in April of 2015. The commissioning of the new brewhouse is scheduled for mid-May, 2015.
Bradenton, FL – Izakaya Nazuka
Chefs Harvey Lovejoy and Emerick Polgar are bringing a Japanese restaurant and sushi bar to downtown Bradenton. It will be located in the Jennings Arcade building in the former location of Jeanne’s Bistro. They are hoping to be open sometime in April 2015.
