Hunter Pond will open his first full-service casual dining operation by summer at 4448 Lovers Lane. The menu will be what he calls “American Classic” with favorites such as cheeseburgers, a signature fried chicken sandwich with a full service bar and large oyster bar with shuckers creating seafood towers.
Seattle, WA – Black and Tan Hall
Partners on this neighborhood project are using crowd-funding to push the project forward so a late May opening at 5608 Rainier Avenue South. The hall will be a combination of music venue, business hub and restaurant with menu features such as lamb sliders, black-eye pea hummus and sweet potato waffle fries.
Augusta, ME – Otto’s on the River
A vista of the Kennebec River will welcome diners to this fine-casual concept when it opens in late May on Grove Street in downtown Augusta. Partners and industry veterans Steven Dumas and Wyatt Shorey will offer a “homey’ atmosphere with upscale food and beverage from locally sourced farms and fisheries.
Milwaukee, WI – Sweet Diner
Chicago restaurant veteran George Prassas will open this casual breakfast and lunch eatery early June at 239 E. Chicago Street. Operating hours will be 6 am to 4 pm in an effort to provide freshness, quality and hospitality in downtown. The menu will feature organic cooking including omelets and frittatas.
Charlotte, NC – Devon & Blakely
What can you accomplish with a $20 Million renovation of a downtown office building, a new restaurant to be located at 100 N. Tryon Street. This fast-casual concept will be open for breakfast and lunch hours offering breakfast sandwiches, coffee, sandwiches, salads and corporate catering for building occupants.
Richmond, VA – Chopt Creative Salads
This growing fast-casual, all-natural casual concept will open sometime in the fall of 2017 at 1601 Willow Lawn Drive. The menu offers a variety of salads, sandwiches, soups and beverages with scratch cooking on premise daily. Diners can choose from set menu items or build their own salads or sandwiches.
