Amarillo, TX – Bubba’s 33
Bubba’s 33, a new Texas Roadhouse concept, is expected to start construction in May with a fall opening planned. The menu will feature pizza, burgers and beer with made from scratch food just like Texas Roadhouse. The will be located just west of the Texas Roadhouse site.
Ft Myers, FL – Misson BBQ
Mission BBQ is dedicated to helping and honoring military veterans, police officers and firefighters, as well as turning a profit as an eatery. The restaurant will have a patriotic theme, playing the national anthem every day at noon, and customers are invited to stand and sing. Mission has opened in Texas, Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania and looks like it could be an interesting play in the restaurant vertical market.
Superior, WI – 7 West Taphouse
This will be another location for this restaurant that is planning a September 2015 opening. Construction is expected to start this summer. Managing Partner Rick Lampton is also planning on opening up another location in St. Cloud.
Novi, MI – Assention Brewing CO
Novi resident Adam Czap is proposing to establish the microbrewery called Ascension Brewing Co., Czap said the brewery would bring a creatively fresh, local and sustainable food menu, as well as craft beers, in a family-friendly environment. He believes that the use would be unique within Novi. Planning on a May opening.
Des Moines, IA – BW’s Burgers
Brad Waldron, chef and owner, is opening BW’s Burgers at 3701 E.P. True Parkway in early May. The restaurant replaces Patty Pat’s, a loose meat sandwich restaurant that closed in January. They are planning on opening this Spring.
Niagara Falls, NY – Rainforest Cafe
Rainforest Cafe, with tropical rainforest decor, operates in five other countries – including right across the border in Niagara Falls, Ont., as well as a dozen states. This restaurant is scheduled to open May 28 inside the Sheraton at the Falls on Old Falls St.
