Pearl Street.  While renovations continue the menu planning suggests items such as American Soul food, burgers, shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles with produce coming from their on-site garden.

Milwaukee, WI – Yokohama
The culinary minds from “StandEatDrink” are bringing this bowl-based casual eatery to 1932 E. Kenilworth Place with an opening sometime in May.  While the idea is ramen-style bowls with almost unlimited add-ons guests not inclined will find burgers, Korean-fried chicken and Chinese dim-sum.

New York, NY– Seamore’s Chelsea
Serial restaurant entrepreneur Michael Chernow continues to broaden his hospitality empire with the spring opening of the second location of this sustainable-focused operation at 210 Tenth Avenue.  The menu will offer guest favorites such as fish tacos, seasonal salads and lighter seafood entrees.

Ashville, NC – Polanco
Owner Luke Gronski has tagged Chef Riccardo Carassco to helm this comfortable Latin concept at 10 N. Market Street with a planned June opening.  Named for the neighborhood in Mexico City where upscale food abounds the menu will focus on authenticity offering tacos, tortas, tamales and some specialties.

Scottsdale, AZ – New York Bagels ‘n Bialys
Locals yearning for these crusty and chewy baked favorites will need to wait until September for their opening at 1475 N. Scottsdale Road.  Open for breakfast and lunch a full-service bar will offer Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas to complement their namesake items, blintzes, Benedicts and pastrami sandwiches.

Seattle, WA – Bar Abajo
The owner/operators of Pintxo are moving and in their place this fun-focused Latin concept will open at 2207 2nd. Avenue sometime this summer.  Their menu offerings are summarized as “gins and tins” with a wide selection of gins, beer, sangria, craft cocktails and tinned food tapas-style, fish, almonds and olives.
