New York, NY – Avant Garden
Ravi DeRossi is planning on opening a vegan restaurant in the location of the former Gingersnap’s Organic. The restaurant will be upscale with a long counter. Kitchen staff will double as wait staff and serve the food themselves. Seating is available for about 30 patrons. They are planning on opening in the early part of July.

York, PA – Bridge & Tunnel and Glazin’
A couple new restaurants will be opening late this summer in the Royal Square District. Bridge and Tunnel will be a restaurant and cocktail bar in the space that formerly housed Allison’s Bar. Glazin’ which is billed as a specialty doughnut shop that will also sell six-packs of beer. Glazin’ will be located in the former law office of Corey Leslie.

San Antonio, TX – Costa Pacifica
This will be the second location for this Mexican Seafood restaurant. The menu will be pretty much the same as the current location with a few additions. An outside deck will seat about 60 people and offer views of the South Texas Hill country. They planning on opening this summer.

Newark, DE – Grain Craft Bar and Kitchen
A pair of first-time restaurateurs will soon open Grain Craft Bar & Kitchen, a craft beer-themed restaurant seeking to become a community gathering spot with live acoustic music and sharable plates of comfort foods. This restaurant will be located in the former Mojo Main location. They are hoping to be open midsummer.

Orlando, FL – Earl’s Kitchen & Bar
Canada-based Earls Kitchen + Bar – described as an “upscale casual” culinary experience – will open at The Mall at Millenia in the former Blue Martini space in early 2016.

Los Angeles, CA – Spring
A long-vacant Historic Core space will soon be filled with a long-anticipated restaurant from the team behind a long-running Arts District establishment. Church and State owner Yassmin Sarmadi and executive chef Tony Esnault are working to open Spring, a high-end French restaurant on the ground floor of the Douglas Building. They anticipate a July opening.
