Richmond, TX – Lopez Mexican Restaurant
It took nearly 40 years but the Lopez family will open their second location sometime this fall to be located at 7200 West Grand Parkway. The original location had experience several expansions but this now unit “came from the heart” as family members describe it, their familiar brand of Tex-Mex will be offered.

Pittsburgh, PA – Merchant Oyster Company
Owner Dennis Marron knows how to keep an entire city in suspense as seafood lovers have endured the wait since 2016 for his new casual concept to open the end of this summer at 4129 Butler Street. While the menu is under development guests can expect fresh oysters, chowders, lobster rolls and live music.

Newport, RI – La Vasca
This reflection of sister restaurant Stoneacre Pantry will bring an upscale cuisine and feel to 515 Thames Street for a late summer opening. The menu will offer Spanish and Basque traditional foods with some twists on those such as mussels in green curry with cilantro and lime along with other cold and hot tapas.

Michigan City, IN – Bartlett’s Fish Camp
The husband and wife Chef team of Gary Sanders and Nicole Bissonette will open this second, casual concept after the success of their Bartlett’s Gourmet Grill & Tavern. There will be deck seating for 100 guests with lake views while the menu will offer raw bar, seafood specialties and “boat drinks.”

Hyde Park, MA – Widowmaker Brewery
Partners Ryan Lavery, Colin Foley and Bud Lazaro plan for an August opening of their brewery taproom located at 220 Wood Road. The three began as home-brewers and always had the “brewery bug” so with a crowdfunding effort they’ll offer their IPA, Pale Ale, Coffee Stout to accompany food truck fare.

Denver, CO – Four Friends Kitchen
Following the success of their first location these “friends” will open their second unit late July or early August to be located at 2070 S. University Blvd. Open for all three meal periods their focus is food with a Southern Flair such as shrimp and grits and beignets with berry and crème anglaise dipping sauces.
