Ashville, NC – Mamacita’s Sister Restaurant
Mamacita’s Owner, John Atwater, announced that a former Pure Oil Station will be the home of a sister restaurant for Mamacita’s. Most recently two Guys Hoagies will make way for a new Taco concept. The new concept will be housed in just over 1400 Sq Ft and carry a full liquor license.
New Orleans, LA – Bayou Breakfast
Derek Illavaso and his wife Idolka are planning on opening Bayou this summer in the Former Tutti Frutti location which just opened in 2013 right next to Half Shells. They will start serving breakfast, lunch, weekend brunches and eventually dinner. They are also planning to open a juice bar, Joose, in the Warehouse District in August as well.
Orlando, FL – 23 New restaurants
23 New restaurants will soon be opening at the Dining Pavilion located at the Florida Mall. The restaurants are scheduled to open in stages throughout the summer. The new concept restaurants include: El Meson Sandwiches, CARVERA Argentinian Grill, Carlo’s Bakery, la Madeleine and Bubbleology. Other restaurants in the new food court will be Tobu, Five Guys Burger and Fries, Charley’s Philly Steaks, Dumpling and Noodle Bar, Chicken Now, A&W All American Food, Asian Chao, Sbarro, Taco Bell, Häagen-Dazs, Spoleto Italian Kitchen, Nature’s Table, FRESH – Healthy Café, Jamba Juice, Ugrean, and Subway.
New York, NY – Dos Caminos
Dos Caminos will be opening in half of its sister restaurant’s place, Blue Fin. Blue Fin will close for renovations on its share of the space and Dos Caminos will begin construction on its site, The new restaurant will contain seating for 218 and will feature a tequila bar offering 120 premium tequilas. Dos Caminos will be opening in August and Blue Fin in October.
Tyler, TX – La Madeleine
Tyler will soon be getting a new restaurant that specializes in French cuisine. La Madeleine is a French Bakery which started in 1983 and has expanded to over 70 locations. Menu items include a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches, pastas, French classics and other entrees. Company officials say the new restaurant cold be open by early 2016.
Newport Beach, CA – Trough
The restaurant is taking over the Il Barone Pizza e Pasta space, which recently closed. The second Trough, which sells a variety of upscale comfort food sandwiches, is slated to open by late August at the Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach.
