Everything will be “relative” as brother and sister Steven Banh and Julie Carlson open this casual café late summer at 329 Florida Street. Replacing the 17-year run of Harrington’s Café they will honor some of the menu favorites while introducing Vietnamese dishes for an Asian flare across the menu.
New Haven, CT – Vanity Bar
Partners Johnny Mocadlo and Gregory Maloney will bring this upscale concept to life to open September at 144 Temple Street. The historic building had been a bank and restaurant previously with dark wood paneling and chandeliers which lend themselves to their vision of a nightclub and premier event venue.
Cornelius, NC – Hello Sailor
How do you replace a local favorite dockside restaurant when its’ life-cycle is finished, you jump in with both feet as the Kindred family of Davidson has planned. A late summer opening is planned at 20210 Henderson Road, the menu will offer upgraded fish-camp fare, plans include a seasonal Tiki bar too.
Bothell, WA – Poquitos
This downtown Seattle favorite is stretching their legs as they open a second location located at 18505 Bothell Way NE sometime this fall. Loyal patrons will find the same Latin-fare menu featuring locally sourced proteins prepared in traditional methods. Flights of Mexican tequilas will also be featured.
Nashville, TN – August Moon Drive-In
In America we know how to entertain and that won’t be lost on guests when they visit this in-door, drive-in movie theater and entertainment complex slated to open 2018 at the intersection of I-24 and James Robertson Parkway. The menu will offer American artisan fare and there will be several full service bars.
Denver, CO – Motomaki
This fast-casual Japanese fare concept will open their third location in the open-air dining forum in the Denver Pavilion this fall at 500 16th. Street. Known for their healthy and innovative menu items they offer guests the opportunity to craft their own rice bowls and burrito-style wraps, beer and wine are available.
