Atascadero, CA – Streetside Ale House
Guest House Grill owners Eric Peterson and Trevor LaSalle current owners of the guesthouse grill on El Camino Riau will be opening the alehouse in the former spot of the wine bar Avion and Claw. The space will be combined with a storefront next to it and will open as one establishment by the end of the year.
Dallas, TX – BBBop
This will be the third location for co-owner Sandra Bussey and her partners. Plans are to open additional locations of their fast casual Korean restaurant BBBopp. This restaurant will house a patio and complete alcohol service. Plans are to open the third location in late August or early September.
Miami, FL – Baru Urbano
CEO says they will more than double their current locations across South Florida by spring 2016. The company has also signed for space at the Palms at Town and Country shopping complex in the Kendall area at 8268 Mills Drive in Miami. It’s expected to open in spring 2016.
Alpharetta, GA – Coast Seafood & Raw
Here to Serve Restaurant Group (H2SR) has plans to convert the John’s Creek location of its tapas concept Noche into Coast Seafood & Raw Bar. Coast has a Buckhead location that’s situated in space formerly occupied by Home restaurant. Starting mid-July, Coast will begin a “restaurant takeover” in the space currently occupied by Noche, at 3719 Old Alabama Road.
Whelling, IL – Purple Sprout
The cafe will offer organic meals made with ingredients from local farmers, but no sugar or preservatives. It also will feature a smoothie and juice bar. Before opening, work is being done to remodel the restaurant space at 341 E. Dundee Road, which formerly housed Shtram’s Deli until it relocated to a different suite in Riverside Plaza in October 2014. They are planning a Mid-August opening.
Baton Rouge, LA – City Pork
City Pork co-owner Trey Williams plans to open a new restaurant concept in the roughly 4,800-square-foot space at 6721 Exchequer Drive that is currently home to The Exchequer restaurant. Williams, co-owner of City Pork – which has two popular locations in Baton Rouge – purchased the restaurant from Due Juifas LLC for $500,000, and City Pork has signed a five-year lease. The sale price works out to about $105 per square foot. A late summer early fall opening is planned.
