Late 2016 will see the opening by founder and Pastry Chef Christina Tosi’s ninth café bakery concept at 3708 Las Vegas Blvd. South. The menu will feature their upscale version of cookies, truffles, pies, and cakes with shakes, soft-serve, hot chocolate for the kids and a variety of popular coffees for adults.
Denver, CO – Eureka
September fifth will see the opening of this California casual fare concept to be located at 1048 Pearl Street. Open for lunch and dinner they will offer over 40 craft beers on tap and over 50 small-batch whiskeys. Chicken sliders, beet salad and fig & bone marrow burgers will be menu features.
Baton Rouge, LA – Chow Yum Phat
Vu Le is the owner and visionary of this Asian-centric casual concept set to open early next spring in the Square 46 mixed use project at 4646 Government Street. The menu will feature a variety of Asian cuisines not just one country. Expect to find noodles, Bao buns, sushi, shashimi and Pho bowls.
Philadelphia, PA – On Point Bistro
The husband and wife team of Chef Juan and Mallory Lopez expect to open their first solo collaboration late August at 1200 Point Breeze Avenue. While the menu is still being planned they are busy sourcing both food and beverages for their casual lunch, dinner and brunch operation and are currently hiring.
Milwaukee, WI – Bumstead’s Provisions
Business partners Mike Bodow, Dave and Devin Eichler plan to open their grocery store / restaurant operation no later than late August at 2671-2675 S. Kinnickinnic Avenue. Locally sourced foods will stock the store shelves while craft beers, a full service bar, sandwiches and small plates will adorn the menu.
Decatur, GA – Truman
This fall will see the opening of this family-friendly, approachable cuisine casual concept by partners Michael Condon and Paul Vinces at 123 East Court Square. Lunch and dinner will be offered seven days with a weekend brunch. The menu will offer upscale bar favorites with a call-out to local favorites.
