The team formerly at the helm of Veritable Quandary, Chef Annie Cuggino and GM Erin Hokland, will open this fine dining destination this fall at SW Second Avenue and Taylor St. There will be an open kitchen and full service bar along with menu favorites such as osso bucco, rabbit pate and Coppino.
Palo Alto, CA – Kali Greek Grill
How do you follow up a successful fine dining restaurant such as Café Brioche, you open a casual dining Greek cuisine concept a few doors down the street at 451 California Avenue sometime in September. The small menu will offer simple, organic locally sourced Greek cuisine and Greek beer and wine.
Helena, MT – La Pa Grill
Late August will see the opening of the fourth unit of this fast-casual operation at 32 W. 6th. Avenue. Touting their style as “hip and fun” this concept features what they term as “world” fusion burritos, bowls and salads from across a variety of cuisines from Cajun to Latin and Asian with fresh local ingredients.
Fallston, MD – Uncle Hawaiian’s Grindz
TV Celebrity Chef Kaimana Chee will oversee the kitchen at this casual dining concept offering foods of the north shore where he says the surfer meets the farmer. A combination of Hawaiian and local craft beers will be available with a full service bar and ahi tuna poke and Hawaiian pulled pork on the menu.
Chicago, IL – Mango Pickle
Look for a late September opening of this Indian-cuisine casual eatery located at 5842 N. Broadway. Chef Marisa Paolillo plans to bring the regional flavors of India to this neighborhood spot to feature lamb and other proteins, vegan and vegetarian dishes and the popular Indian condiment “pickled mango.”
Birmingham, AL – Roll Up
This new fast-casual concept will open at 707 Richard Arrington Jr. Blvd. South in the spring of 2017. In addition to sushi the menu will offer fresh bowls with a variety of premium meats, fresh fish and seafood along with alternate proteins, fresh vegetables and fruits to be enjoyed on-site or available for delivery.
