Treasure Island, FL – Sea Dog Pub and Brewery
Fred Forsley, owner of the Sea Dog chain plans to open their third Florida unit sometime in the first quarter of 2017 to be located at 9610 Gulf Blvd. The first floor will house the on-site brewery while the second floor will feature a 6,000 sq. ft. restaurant serving lunch and dinner seven days a week.
Scottsdale, AZ – Bourbon & Bones Chophouse & Bar
Square One Concepts will open their newest fine-dining venture late September at 4200 N. Scottsdale Road. The kitchen will be helmed by Chef Issac Carter who will develop a menu focused on classic steak cuts and steakhouse fare. The operation will occupy 4,000 sq. ft. and offer a full service bar.
Omaha, NE – Herbe Sainte
Area restaurant veteran Ron Samuelson will open this Louisiana-cuisine casual dining concept by early October at 422 S. 11th. Street. The menu won’t be typical New Orleans fare such as gumbo and jambalaya; however, it will be seafood-centric and small plates will blend multi-cultural Louisiana foods.
Ann Arbor, MI – The Lunch Room
The second unit of this popular vegan operation plan to open in January 2017 at 2200 Fuller Court. The menu will feature favorites from the first location such as their banh mi and tempeh Reuben, soups, salads and sushi. They plan to have a full liquor license, breakfast and lunch will be offered six days.
Austin, TX – Sumptuary
The popular south-east Asian operation Satay that was shuttered in June will re-open on a date to be determined at the original location 3202 W. Anderson Lane. The space will be available for private events such as pop-up dinners and serve as a restaurant business incubator with short-term leasing.
Redding, CA – Final Draft Brewing Company
Beer industry veteran Adam Ward wasn’t planning on opening another brewery restaurant operation but got “pulled back in” when he saw the downtown property on California Street where he plans to open by December. The beer and food menus are in planning but guests will recognize the standards on both.
