Brooklyn, NY – 33
The former Dare Book space on Lafayette Avenue will be home to a new wine and tapas bar called 33. The new venue will also include an outdoor beer garden. While construction is almost complete, inspections are in the works. The restaurant could open as early as October.
Cincinnati, OH – Americano Burger Bar
This new restaurant is currently under construction. The Americano will have seating for about 100 including an outdoor patio seats 25. Americano will feature steak burgers milkshakes gelato and cut fries and much more. Although no opening date has been set yet, they plan on opening the latter part of November or the first part of December.
Ball Ground, GA – Ball Ground Burger Bus
A historic trackless trolley has found a home as a new restaurant. This 1948 Pullman Company trackless trolley has been retired and now put back to use as a restaurant. The bus was found spring rusted and boarded-up, but the new owners had a vision of making it run again as a restaurant. The menu will consist of specialty burgers and fries as its main focus. No date for an opening could be found as the restoration project could take some time.
Fort Lauderdale, FL – Boatyard
A new waterside dining concept, Boatyard, will be opening at the site of the former Bimini Boatyard Bar and Grill which closed in July. It will employ about 100 to serve the 275 seat restaurant. They are hoping to be open in time for the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show which runs from Nov. 5-8th.
Dallas, TX – Happiest Hour
Two new Happiest Hour locations will be opening soon in the Dallas area. The first will open this month in the Harwood District. The 12000 square foot space will be a combination of indoor-outdoor dining, including a lower deck and a rooftop patio. A second location is planned on Victory Ave. for later in the fall.
Redlands. CA – Il Volo
Il Volo will be opening in the former home of Clara’s. The restaurant will seat 120 and has two different entrances, one for the main restaurant and the other for the deli and espresso bar. Currently Volo is undergoing extensive renovations and sprucing up. Opening is anticipated to be around October 1.
