Waltham, MA – Brewer’s Tap & Table
Executive Chef Matt Sargent and wife Nancy will open their casual eatery at 256 Moody Street prior to the end of 2016. The menu will be small with only 24 or so items with a balance between meat proteins and vegetable entrees. A full bar will offer over 40 craft beers on tap and a wide selection of Bourbons.
St. Paul, MN – The Glensman
Too often Irish cuisine restaurants fall flat when it comes to their food with sticky fish & chips and boiled pot dinners. With an opening date to be established this casual operation will be located at 1659 Grand Avenue. Traditional mackerel and prawns will grace the menu along with Irish whiskey and beers.
Anaheim, CA – Leisure Town
The developers from Modern Times are creating a multi-unit, multi-concept space encompassing 32,000 sq. ft. in downtown to be located at 554 S. Anaheim Blvd. Opening dates will vary with each concept; however, look for a craft beer brewery, food stalls, a cinema and pool complete with a poolside bar.
Rehoboth Beach, DE – Bluecoast Seafood Grill
The creative talents of SoDel Concepts will open their 10th. eatery sometime next summer at 135 Country Club Road. The menu will reflect available local seafood, an upscale wine list, craft beers and full service bar. Amenities include an outdoor firepit and game area along with an acoustic stage for summer artists.
Portland, OR – Figlia
The owners of the acclaimed fine-dining Italian restaurant “Renata” will be going a little down-scale with their new casual breakfast and lunch concept to open sometime in December at 1100 SE Grand Avenue. Menu items will include bagels, Panini, over-sized salads and sandwich meats will be made in-house.
Franklin, TN – Black Rabbit
Chef Trey Cioccia of local favorite “The Farmhouse” will open his next concept within a stone’s throw of Printer’s Alley at 218 3rd. Avenue North sometime in the first quarter of 2017. It will seat 120 guests, offer a full bar and small plate menu that will offer canapes, pickled seafood and wood-fired breads.
