Decatur, GA – Twisted Soul
Deborah VanTrece will be opening Twisted Soul in a space previously occupied by Marbar. She will be working with local farmers to offer seasonal menu options. Items may include a variety of traditional southern foods but with a twist, hence the name. An early December opening is expected.
Tennessee and Kentucky – Bar Louie
Bar Louie just signed a five store development agreement with a Tennessee-based group to open the units over the next few years. The first one is expected to be open summer 2015, however sites are not confirmed at this time. Bar Louie plans on opening 100 corporate and 100 franchised location over the next five years.
Matlacha, FL – Cafe on the Bay
Bruce and Deborah Pitts are planning on opening before the end of the year. Their new restaurant will be located at the site of the former Toucan’s Restaurant which was heavily damage due to a fire in May of 2012. The Pitts have many years experience in the restaurant industry.
Grand Prairie, TX – Romas Italian Bistro
Romas will be opening their 3rd location in January of 2015. They will be located on the bottom floor of the Hepsworth Tower at Main and Center. Remodeling is being completed to expand a widened sidewalk to allow more outside dining similar to what you might expect in Italy.
Silver Springs, MD – All Set Restaurant & Bar
All Set will be opening in the spring of 2015 and will be located on Fenton St., NW. The owner is Jennifer Meltzer. The restaurant will serve traditional New England-inspired, seasonal America food. It will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Newport Beach, CA – The Beach Barrel
According to their Facebook page they are planning on opening sometime in December. Their menu will be casual with items such as gourmet burgers, pizza, Jamaican Jerk Kabobs and more.
