Owner-operator of Babycakes Bakery, Kerri Lynch-Delaney, will open her new concept named “16C” after the address 16 Cottage Avenue.  The building will undergo an entire internal renovation with the goal of a first quarter 2016 opening though the date is still open.  The menu will feature pizzas, salads, steak-tips and homemade ice cream.

New Orleans, LA – Cavan
Kristen Essig has been named Executive Chef of Cavan to open at 3607 Magazine Street in early 2016.  The menu will feature seafood, primarily from the Gulf, with some deep-water Pacific fish and perhaps cold-water oysters, all other menu items will be locally sourced.  The menu will be designed around the popular current sharing and tasting trend.

Los Angeles, CA – Beefsteak by Marcel
A vegetarian restaurant by the name of “Beefsteak” will open early 2016 at 7661 Melrose Avenue under the guidance of Marcel Vigneron.  The vegetarian menu will offer a variety of soups, wraps and bowls while there will also be a set prix-fixe menu for carnivores, pescatarians and vegans with a full liquor bar to wash it all down.

Nashville, TN – Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse
Multi-concept operator, Jeff Ruby, will bring his third namesake steakhouse restaurant to 315 Deaderick Street with a menu that features 65 Day-Aged Bone-in Strip Steak and Japanese A5 Waygu Tenderloin.  The interior and atmosphere resembles early 1940’s Art Deco, entree price points will range from $20 to $80, and opening is slated for April, 2016.

Minneapolis, MN – Naf Grill
Multi-unit operator, Naf Grill, will open their fourth Minnesota location in Bloomington in early 2016.  The fast-casual restaurant features authentically prepared middle-eastern cuisine in a casual atmosphere at moderate price points.  Their menu features, house-made grilled Shawarma, freshly prepared sauces and house-baked fresh pita bread.

Buffalo, NY – The Pub
If 8270 Transit Road in Amherst seems a familiar address it will be home to the new casual-dining, 165 seat The Pub to open late December in the Wegman’s supermarket at the same location.  The menu will feature burgers, lobster tacos, seared salmon entrees with quesadillas to hummus dotting the appetizer section with a variety of soups and salads.
