Bridgewater, NJ – 22 West Tap and Grill
Chef partners Kevin Trimarchi and Scott Morganlander will open their upscale-casual concept by the end of December at 1601 Route 22. The entire building has been gutted to make room for larger windows, a banquet room and enlarged bar. A full service bar will complement a seasonal rotating menu.
Troy, MI – Old Town Grill
This casual operation will open its fifth location and first in Michigan in late February at 2800 Big Beaver Road. The menu will feature USDA Choice steaks, barbecue, pasta entrees, sandwiches, a variety of appetizers and a full service bar. The focus is on bringing great service and southern hospitality together.
Austin, TX – Still Austin Whiskey Co.
Not since prohibition has any whiskey been made here but that changes when this unique concept opens early 2017 at 440 E. St. Elmo Road. The owners say this will be a “grain-to-glass” distillery as many of the ingredients will be sourced from local farms. Live music and food trucks will welcome guests.
Portland, ME – LB Kitchen
If you prefer your food simple but rich in flavor the partners of this new “broth & bowl” concept will put you right when they open late December at 249 Congress Street. Bowl varieties will include Thai tomato beef, coconut mint chicken and kombu sesame mushroom. A variety of breakfast bowls will be offered.
Phoenix, AZ – Cornish Pasty Co.
This casual concept will finally open, after extensive renovation to the building infrastructure, late this month or early 2017 at Central Avenue and Monroe Street. The restaurant will offer meals across all three day-parts of the stuffed meat and vegetable pastries originally from English “coal country”.
San Francisco, CA – RT Rotisserie
Husband and wife Chef partners Evan and Sarah Rich will bring their upscale-casual cuisine and atmosphere to another casual eatery at 101 Oak Street to open in early 2017. As the name suggests proteins will get the rotisserie treatment focusing on chicken, soups, salads and sandwiches as well.
