This upscale-casual operation will open their tenth unit late first quarter 2017 at 150 W. Wetmore Road. Menu items will include burgers, wasabi-pea crusted ahi tuna, crab mac and cheese, pasta and pizzas. They will occupy an 8,700 sq. ft. space and offer 36 signature cocktails, craft beer and wine menu.
Mckinney, TX – Henderson Kitchen & Tap
Local restaurateur Martin Corboy will open his casual version of Henderson Kitchen by late January 2017 at 2730 S. Central Expressway. He’s tapped renowned Chef Joe O’Brien to helm the kitchen and create the menu to offer “craft American” food such as locally sourced steaks, burgers, pasta and craft beers.
St. Cloud, MN – Giliberto’s Tacos
What can you do when you have a late-night, early-morning Mexican food craving, step up to this new 24/7 full service casual eatery to open at 2301 Division Street West late in the first quarter of 2017. Owner Ana Coconi says the menu offers authentic Mexican street tacos, burritos, rice and bean platters.
San Francisco, CA – Bar Crenn
Two-star Michelin Chef Dominique Crenn will open this “living room” casual wine bar in April 2017 at 3131 Fillmore Street. The bar menu will focus on wines “new and old” and low alcohol cocktails as they won’t have a spirits license. The kitchen will produce seasonal small, shareable plates with a French focus.
Brooklyn, NY – Burgito’s
If you can’t decide between a burger or burrito this is the place for you as this new culinary mash-up will open early 2017 at 173 4th. Avenue. The owner describes their menu offerings as a cross between the burger and burrito without the heavy rice and beans replaced by fries, cheese and a mix of vegetables.
Stafford, VA – Hot n’ Fluffy
Local bakery veteran Lynnette Drake is bringing her 17 years of success at “The Icing” to a new casual Southern cuisine concept directly across the street at Doc Stone Commons to open early 2017. The scratch menu will feature hot biscuits, fried chicken and waffles, grits, collards and banana pudding.
