International celebrity chef, Richard Sandoval, will open his first Philadelphia restaurant in the Ritz-Carlton as the hotel moves through a $24 million renovation with the goal of opening in May 2016. The menu will revolve around steaks and sustainable seafood and feature a wood-burning grill and seating for 206 located at 10 Avenue of the Arts downtown.
Wichita, KS – Caesars Table
The popular two-year-old upscale buffet concept will open in its new location in May 2016 and maintain the mid-scale international cuisine it’s known for during lunch, will open for breakfast and eventually dinner service as well. The new location will be 125 N. Market St and will offer catering to complement their on-site service.
Miami, FL – Laffa My Mediterranean Kitchen
The Owners of My Ceviche Restaurant will open their new fast-casual, build-your-own meal concept sometime in the first quarter of 2016 at 1250 S. Miami Avenue. The menu will offer seasonally changing eastern Mediterranean favorites with house-made hummus and pita bread serving as menu anchors along with their fresh juices.
San Jose, CA – Our House
185 Park Avenue in the San Jose financial district will be the home to the new casual operation that will first open for lunch and then breakfast in early March, opening is slated for mid-to-late January 2016. The menu will be seasonal with local, organic foods that are GMO-free.
Chicago, IL – Mora
The Plainfield, Chicago suburb will be the home of a new Asian-fusion concept featuring eastern-style barbecue and sushi. Located at 24108 W. Lockport St. it will be the most recent tenant of a historic local government building that also housed the town hall, jail, fire and police departments around 1900 to 1920 and will open mid-January 2016.
Houston, TX – The Brisket House
Operators of this Houston landmark will open their third unit at 3301 FM 1960 Road west in March 2016. The new unit will dwarf the two previous at just over 10,000 sq. ft. however, it will feature the same slow-smoked beef, pork, chicken and sausage that made them famous. Owners say to look for some new menu items once they are up and running.
