Some may say they can not start or go on with their day without coffee, for those people, there is a new café opening in South Norwalk. Andrea Lombardi, owner, plans to open “The Breakroom” on 14 N Main Street in mid-October and said he is very excited for people to enjoy the atmosphere.
Orlando, FL – Voodoo Bayou
A South Florida eatery offering Louisianan fare is coming to Orlando’s Restaurant Row. According to a report from the Orlando Business Journal, Voodoo Bayou is opening up in the former home of MoonFish at 7525 W. Sand Lake Road. The Palm Beach Gardens restaurant describes itself as a “Southern Cajun Kitchen.” In truth, it’s a blend of soul food, Creole cuisine (note the tomatoes in the jambalaya) and Cajun dishes. The menu at their current location includes fried chicken, po’ boys, etouffee, grits and gumbo. Southern sides like okra, mac and cheese and green beans are also on offer.
Newark, DE – Five Guys
Five Guys, the national fast-casual burger chain, is replacing a burger joint at a storied corner of Newark’s Main Street. The new restaurant is taking the place of Cheeburger Cheeburger at Main and Haines streets. It is expected to open before the end of the month, according to company spokesperson Jessica Lloyd.
West Chester Township, OH – Lori’s Roadhouse
A new restaurant, bar and live music venue is coming to West Chester. Lori’s Roadhouse, a 24,000-square-foot restaurant and venue aiming to bring the excitement of Nashville to West Chester, is set to open Oct. 22. According to a release, the space will offer two stages that can hold performances from local, regional and national artists, and can host private events for groups up to 2,200 guests.
Duluth, GA – Slutty Vegan
Pinky Cole, the visionary, Founder, and CEO behind Slutty Vegan, Bar Vegan, and The Pinky Cole Foundation, announces the opening of a new Slutty Vegan location in Duluth, GA. Located in Gwinnett County (2131 Pleasant Hill Rd.), the restaurant will open in late 2021 and serve an expansive menu featuring creative takes on 100% plant-based burgers, sandwiches, and meals made with Impossible meat and donning cheeky names.
