Rick Ross Bringing More Wings to Memphis With Latest Wingstop Restaurant

Maybach Music Group CEO and platinum recording artist Rick Ross is heating up Memphis with the opening of his latest Wingstop, located at 4697 Poplar Ave.

Ross, who rapped about his love for Wingstop and Lemon-Pepper flavored wings on his hit album Teflon Don, has a multi-unit, multi-state deal with Wingstop.

“We’ve totally hit the spot here in Memphis,” said Ross. “I like being able to share my favorite wings and empowering the community with jobs at the same time.”

The restaurant opens just in time for Memphis Madness, the University of Memphis basketball kickoff event, scheduled for Friday, Oct. 12 at the FedEx Arena. As the Official Wings of the Memphis Tigers, Wingstop will offer specials for fans during the game, and free wings for a year for one lucky winner.

With a sole focus on cooked-to-order chicken, the Wingstop menu features traditional and boneless wings, chicken strips and Glider sandwiches – all sauced and tossed in 10 original flavors. Homemade side dishes include fresh seasoned fries, cut daily from Idaho potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw and potato salad.

Wingstop Memphis is open from 11 a.m. to midnight daily. More information is available at Wingstop.com or Facebook.com/Wingstop.
