Rita’s Italian Ice, the world’s largest Italian Ice concept with over 600 stores has opened its newest store in the Bonita Point Plaza at 1463 East H Street across from Southwestern College and Bonita Vista High School in Chula Vista, California today. All Guests who visit the new Rita’s today will get a complimentary Regular Italian Ice to try the delicious treat! Since 1984 Rita’s has been dedicated to serving up a big dose of happiness with their smooth and delicious frozen treat, made fresh daily, with real fruit in more than 65 flavors. The new Rita’s in Chula Vista is bringing the “Ice Storm” for the whole community to try and offering complimentary Regular Rita’s Ice today and during the Grand Opening celebration scheduled for Friday, May 9th, 2014.
Now Guests in Chula Vista can choose from Rita’s Ice flavors including the most popular, Mango, Cherry, Alex’s Lemonade, Swedish Fish, and STARBURST Cherry, just to name a few! If Guests want a bit more decadent treat, Rita’s Cream Ice, is offered in silky smooth flavors. Health-conscious Guests can still enjoy a taste of Rita’s with Sugar-free Italian Ice and Light Vanilla Frozen Custard.
Rita’s the “Home of Cool Treats” offers many delicious options in addition to Italian Ice, including Misto Shakes, a combination of Italian Ice and Old-Fashioned Frozen Custard blended into a cool, creamy, delicious customizable treat, a personalized Blendini, which is Old-Fashioned Frozen Custard and Italian Ice with your choice of mix-ins such as Snickers blended together or, a Gelati, your choice of Italian Ice layered with creamy Old-Fashioned Frozen Custard. Other tempting treats include Rita’s twist on an old-fashioned favorite, Milkshakes, made with Rita’s famous Old-Fashioned Frozen Custard and are available in a variety of flavors, topped off with whipped cream. Some of Rita’s newest additions will be offered and include STARBURST Orange Ice, Sundaes, Oreo Custard Cookie Sandwiches, as well as Light Custard!
The new Rita’s Italian Ice in Chula Vista is owned and operated by Rita’s GP, LLC, based in Old Town San Diego. Plans include opening more than 30 stores within San Diego County over the next few years. Rita’s GP, LLC, plans to open more than 30 stores alone in San Diego County, over the next 5 years, beginning with Chula Vista at Bonita Plaza.
