Robeks Fresh Juices & Smoothies Next Generation store design is racking up the media mentions all over the restaurant industry press. “When you enter one of these new Robeks shops, one of the first things you see is our gorgeous display of the best fresh fruits and vegetables,” Gary says in the articles. “Robeks has become a favorite of health-conscious adults of all ages, area sports teams, and on-the-go moms and dads. The goal is to help customers maintain healthy daily habits, and Robeks wants all of this reflected in our stores.”
The store’s Next Generation redesign features a colorful, comfortable and inviting environment that focuses on fresh ingredients. Menu items feature premium ingredients – naturally ripened fruits and vegetables that retain nutrients, live enzymes and natural flavor. They are always made fresh-to-order while the customer watches.
Unique themes set Robeks apart from competitors
Gary, who has been a multi-unit Robeks franchisee for 10 years,, had a grand reopening celebration on October 17. He says he likes the “Build Your Own Juice” program, “where customers can order juices and smoothies from our menu or select their own produce … from our fresh fruits and vegetables customer-facing display and then place them in a special colander. Then, our staff weighs the contents and thoroughly washes the produce before squeezing a fresh, custom-made premium juice.”
The program is on the forefront of the customization trend that has been spreading throughout the restaurant industry.
“We not only appreciate our customers but we love how much they know about our fresh produce beverages. They know the nutrient density advantages of our products over other options, and, above all, they enjoy the experience of being with, and being served by, like-minded individuals who understand the importance of a healthier lifestyle,” Gary adds.
The Build Your Own Juice program is only part of the Robeks redesign.
“We redesigned the inside and outside of the entire box – with an eye on visual impact, operational improvements, functionality, customer flow and new equipment,” says Robeks Chief Marketing Officer Chad Bailey. “When you enter a Robeks now, one of the first things you see is our gorgeous display of fresh fruits and vegetables. You will know instantly that you’re getting a one-of-a-kind, upscale experience. We wanted a retail environment that’s more sophisticated and more refined than our competitors.”
Next Generation design allows for nontraditional locations
Robeks corporate staff spent the better part of a year revamping store designs and collecting information from key stakeholders, executive team members, customers, franchisees, regional directors and more to figure exactly what was needed.
Three tiers of remodeling packages are offered, and all are having a significantly positive impact to sales.
