Robert Jensen Appointed President of eegee’s

Robert Jensen, an employee of eegee’s since 1976, has been promoted to President of eegee’s.

Mr. Jensen began his employment at eegee’s as a cashier and has worked in almost every department of the company. His previous position was Director of Commissary Operations. He was responsible for the purchasing, manufacturing and distribution of all products for store Operations. He also oversaw the catering, wholesale and special event departments.

“We are excited to have such a seasoned executive setting the new direction for eegee’s and its 600 employees. The customers of Tucson and surrounding areas have made eegee’s what it is today and we will continue to deliver the famous eegee’s products and service,” said C. Ronald Petty, eegee’s board chairman.

Mr. Petty added, “Congratulations to Robert and the eegee’s family of employees. His experience and leadership within the company will take eegee’s to the next level of customer experience.”

Robert is a Tucson native and attended the University of Arizona in secondary education with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. Robert was also four-year letterman in gymnastics and held the position of team captain.
