Rock Icons Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley Say Aloha to Hawaii

With a Sneak Preview of their newest Rock & Brews Restaurant

Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS were on Maui yesterday to offer a sneak preview of their newest Rock & Brews restaurant in Pa’ia.

The private event, hosted by the rock icons and their co-founding partners restaurateur-hotelier Michael Zislis and concert and merchandising veterans Dave and Dell Furano, welcomed 200 guests and included a ribbon cutting with Maui Mayor Alan Arakawa; a traditional blessing officiated by Maui spiritual leader A.C. Kahekiliui’la Lagunero; a check presentation to the Pa’ia Youth & Cultural Center; a nod to Wounded Warriors, veterans and active military; and a sampling of local fare and rock’n hospitality.

The restaurant, located at 120 Hana Highway in Pa’ia, will officially open to the public on February 15.

Rock & Brews Pa’ia pays tribute to the familial warmth and character that is synonymous with Pa’ia, while respecting the vibrant Rock & Brews brand look and feel. It will feature Rock & Brews’ popular casual American comfort food, as well as local favorites, and a full bar, including Pa’ia’s largest selection of craft beers.
