Amplified sushi chain to open new location near University of Arkansas campus on March 25
Rock N Roll Sushi, the lively restaurant chain known for its original, American-style sushi experience and rockin’ vibes, is about to take the stage with its first location in Northwest Arkansas on Monday, March 25.
Located at 1777 MLK Boulevard, this Rock N Roll Sushi is just west of the University of Arkansas campus. It’s the sixth location in the state – joining Benton, Conway, Little Rock-Chenal, Little Rock-Soma and North Little Rock – and the 70th restaurant systemwide. Its hours of operation will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
The franchisees opening the Fayetteville Rock N Roll Sushi are Doug Burnett, Chris Delre and Bobby Stevens of BCD Investments Inc., with Tim Jones serving as operating partner. An experienced team of franchisors that owns and operates several Firehouse Subs locations, they plan to grow their Rock N Roll Sushi portfolio in the Northwest Arkansas area – but haven’t yet determined the total number of restaurants they will open.
“We’re so excited to bring a great young brand like Rock N Roll Sushi to Northwest Arkansas,” said Delre. “When we tried the sushi, it was fantastic – and the Americanized spin really hit home for us.”
“All of us dig the vibe of Rock N Roll Sushi, and we’re all fans of the rock-and-roll lifestyle,” added Delre. “Bringing that vibe to Fayetteville – the city with the very cool motto ‘Regnat Populus – The people rule’ – is a no-brainer!”
The partners are meticulously researching local nonprofit organizations for Rock N Roll Sushi to support within the Fayetteville community.

Founded in 2010 by husband-and-wife duo Lance and Gerri Mach Hallmark in Mobile, Alabama, Rock N Roll Sushi is the original American-style sushi restaurant founded on great food, true love and rock n’ roll music. It’s the only themed restaurant in the world where local and loyal fans can experience the rock they love and the rolls they love with the ones they love. The menu is broken down by Opening Acts, Classics, Green Room, Headliners (with Raw Tracks), Back Stage Hibachi, Kids Rock and After Party, with Rock N Roll Sushi’s greatest hits – like Crispy Wontons, Punk Rock Roll, VIP Roll and Hibachi – stealing the show. From humble beginnings in a modest 1,000-square-foot space tucked inside the Mobile Mall, Rock N Roll Sushi has rapidly expanded to encompass more than 66 locations across the southeastern U.S. in just a decade.
