Original, American-style sushi restaurant to ring in three years in Little Rock by supporting educational non-profit with concert and fundraiser
There’s no better way to celebrate a birthday than by hosting your own concert for friends and family. Rock N Roll Sushi is doing just that, and sharing the gifts it receives with local students and educators.
The one-of-a-kind American-style sushi restaurant is ready to celebrate its third birthday by continuing to deliver hits and favorites to its fans across Central Arkansas, hosting a concert fundraiser to benefit Reach and Teach at 7 p.m. on July 26. The non-profit organization works with students to help them develop teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills that they can utilize in school and the workplace through musical and event production.
Rock N Roll Sushi will take ownership of The Hall, located at 721 W. Ninth St., and present a memorable night of rock featuring alternative radio favorites Hold On Hollywood and 1980s hard rock cover band The Velcro Pygmies. Event tickets are $25 and can be purchased here, with Rock N Roll Sushi donating 20% of all event proceeds to Reach and Teach.
“We’re grateful to everyone in the community for supporting us for the past three years,” Rock N Roll Sushi CEO Chris Kramolis said. “No rock band can succeed without its legion of fans and we’re no different. We thought, what better way to give back than by supporting an organization that is helping pave the way for our future? So, I’m inviting all of Central Arkansas to come out and enjoy an awesome birthday bash with us.”
Those looking for a quieter approach to celebrating with their favorite sushi roll or sashimi can do that and still support the educational cause. Rock N Roll Sushi will sell paper Helping Guitar Picks in increments of $1 or $5 throughout the month of October, with 100% of all proceeds benefitting the Reach and Teach Concert Tour. A part of the non-profit’s curriculum, the Concert Tour program teaches students entrepreneurship, business and marketing skills by helping them put on a concert at their own high school campus.
At Rock N Roll Sushi, fans enjoy food that’s deliciously twisted and made fresh for everyone. Boasting concepts and flavors that are big, bold and loud, Rock n’ Roll Sushi is the only place to experience the rock you love and the rolls you love with the ones you love!

Founded in 2010 by husband-and-wife duo Lance and Gerri Mach Hallmark in Mobile, Alabama, Rock N Roll Sushi is the original American-style sushi restaurant founded on great food, true love and rock n’ roll music. It’s the only theme-restaurant in the world where local and loyal fans can experience the rock they love and the rolls they love with the ones they love. The menu is broken down by Opening Acts, Classics, Green Room, Headliners (with Raw Tracks), Back Stage Hibachi, Kids Rock and After Party, with Rock N Roll Sushi’s greatest hits – like Crispy Wontons, Punk Rock Roll, VIP Roll and Hibachi – stealing the show. From humble beginnings in a modest 1000-square-foot space tucked inside the Mobile Mall, Rock N Roll Sushi has rapidly expanded to encompass more than 60 locations across the Southeastern U.S. in just a decade.
