Original, American-style sushi restaurant to raise money in support of non-profit educational program for high school students
For the team at Rock N Roll Sushi, nothing rocks harder than giving back to the communities that support our restaurants.
That’s why the original American-style sushi restaurant is the proud sponsor of the non-profit Reach and Teach Concert Tour Program, which is an educational program geared toward high school business education and technology students in grades 9-12.
The Reach and Teach program is provided at no cost to the participating schools selected by Reach and Teach and located around the country. The program includes a 13-week curriculum, providing the opportunity for students to plan, promote and execute a real concert on their own school campus. The concert then serves as a fundraiser for the school.
All October long at every Rock N Roll Sushi location, guests can purchase ‘helping guitar picks’ — which will be put up for display (with the customer’s name on it) in the restaurant for the entire month.
The top five locations that sell the most guitar picks will win a Karaoke machine that can be used at the restaurant for Karaoke nights. 100% of the funds go to Reach and Teach. If every location sells out of its helping guitar picks, a total donation of $40,750 will be made to Reach and Teach. The guitar picks are available in-store and with direct online orders but cannot be purchased through third-party apps.
“Not only will our fundraiser help this great program, but it will also introduce thousands of educators and students to the Rock N Roll brand,” said Chris Kramolis, CEO of Rock N Roll Sushi. “And of course, it’s a great way to bring Rock N Roll music to Gen Z students!”
In addition, Rock N Roll Sushi will hold a Toast “Round Up” campaign from Oct. 2 through Oct. 31 — enabling customers to opt-in and round up their checks to a whole number or contribute a flat donation to Reach and Teach. Toast fundraising campaigns will be displayed to guests on the Toast Online Ordering module, Guest-Facing Display, or digital receipts.

Founded in 2010 by husband-and-wife duo Lance and Gerri Mach Hallmark in Mobile, Alabama, Rock N Roll Sushi is the original American-style sushi restaurant founded on great food, true love and rock n’ roll music. It’s the only theme-restaurant in the world where local and loyal fans can experience the rock they love and the rolls they love with the ones they love. The menu is broken down by Opening Acts, Classics, Green Room, Headliners (with Raw Tracks), Back Stage Hibachi, Kids Rock and After Party, with Rock N Roll Sushi’s greatest hits – like Crispy Wontons, Punk Rock Roll, VIP Roll and Hibachi – stealing the show. From humble beginnings in a modest 1000-square-foot space tucked inside the Mobile Mall, Rock N Roll Sushi has rapidly expanded to encompass more than 60 locations across the Southeastern U.S. in just a decade.
