Flavorful, crunchy ‘Topping of the Month’ is high in vitamin C, low in calories
As if 50 fresh toppings aren’t enough to sink your teeth into …
Beginning Monday, May 1, Salata – the Next Generation Salad Bar – is introducing mini sweet peppers to its toppings lineup. Mini sweet peppers are an excellent source of vitamin C, are low in calories and contain zero fat and cholesterol.
At Salata, guests are able to customize their own salad to fit the mood they are in that day. But sweet pepper fans are encouraged to come by soon. This special topping will only be available through May 31.
Some popular combinations featuring May’s Topping of the Month include –
- Southwest-Inspired Salad – Salata mix, mini sweet peppers, jicama, corn, tomatoes, red onion, grilled chicken, avocado, sun-dried tomato dressing
- Fresh Sweet Pepper Salad – Spring mix, mini sweet peppers, cilantro, carrots, cucumbers, feta cheese, salmon, lemon vinaigrette
“I’m really excited to add mini sweet peppers to our May lineup,” said Esther Cortez, Marketing Manager at Salata. “These flavorful, crunchy vegetables add a distinctive zing to any salad or wrap, so be sure to come in and try it before the end of the month.”
And if sweet peppers aren’t your cup of tea, don’t fret. More than 50 fresh toppings and 10 house-made dressings are always available to create your perfect salad or salad wrap every day.
Salata is renowned for its healthy, fresh and simple menu. The vegetables and fruits are chopped daily and the protein selection is fresh and lean. All of the dressings, soups and sauces are house-made and gluten-free.
