Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina is expanding its presence in Kentucky thanks to a new multi-unit development agreement with husband and wife business partners, Bill and Holli Gibson. The Gibson’s are opening the first Salsarita’s in Lexington on June 16 at 2380 Norman Lane. They will be having a grand opening celebration that day starting at 11:00 a.m. The celebration will be passing out Cantina Club Loyalty Cards already loaded with rewards to the first 100 guests. Guests will also have the chance to win $10 and $50 gift cards with one winner will win free Salsarita’s for a year. The Gibsons plan to open 2 additional locations over the next 3 years. Their location will be the third Salsarita’s franchised in Kentucky, joining to existing locations in Louisville.
“We are very excited to bring Salsarita’s to Lexington,” said Holli. “We fell in love with the concept, the freshness of the food and the fun atmosphere. Our ties to the Lexington community run deep and we’re thrilled to bring an exciting new business to town.”
Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina offers Mexican favorites such as five flavorful house-made salsas, custom burritos, tacos, nachos and salads made fresh to order with an extensive selection of proteins, toppings and fillings. “Thanks to franchisees like the Gibsons, our presence in Kentucky continues to grow,” said Phil Friedman, CEO of Salsarita’s, “Kentucky has been a great state for our operators and, strategically for us, helps open the doors to franchise development from our traditional roots in the southeast toward the midwest.”
