Sarpino’s Pizzeria is coming to northern Lake County with the September 1 opening of Sarpino’s of Gurnee. Located at 34484 North U.S. Highway 45, Suite B and serving Grayslake, Gurnee, Lindenhurst and Third Lake, the pizzeria famous for its array of fresh, gourmet pizza options will be brought to the area courtesy of owner Vijay Patel. The owner of one existing Sarpino’s location and looking forward to his next location, Patel has been in the restaurant industry for over 13 years and now looks to use his experience to grow the Sarpino’s name.
For an industry veteran like Patel, recognizing business trends is the key to success. With Sarpino’s, Patel saw a company that was answering a demand for food that was not being met by any other business.
“The trend I’ve seen that means the most, particularly with Millennials, is that people want two often contradictory things in the food they eat,” said Patel, “they want quality, gourmet food and they want it fast. With Sarpino’s, that’s not a contradiction. Customers can order by phone or online and get the great tasting food they want, customized to their exact tastes, at a speed that would impress even the most impatient person. It’s win-win.”
Helping family members who came to the United States from India, Patel has a special incentive to achieve success with his Sarpino’s.
“Sarpino’s of Gurnee represents a labor of love that has been nearly two years in the making,” said Patel. “My family members who came to this country to make a better life for themselves, and with my newest Sarpino’s I aim to help them build one. As I grow my Sarpino’s, I can wake up happy every day knowing that I’m providing something great for customers and family members alike. For a business owner, you can’t ask for much more than that.”
Sarpino’s Pizzeria currently has 48 fully operational locations in eight states across the U.S. They have a total of 65 fully executed franchise agreements. They expect to have 65 locations open by the end of 2016 and 350 locations within five years. Target markets with current store opportunities include Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
