Sedona Taphouse Restaurants with parent company DJB Hospitality, has been recognized for the third time as one of America’s fastest-growing privately held companies.
“We are honored to rank for the third consecutive year on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list,” said Sedona Taphouse Restaurants Founder and CEO, Dennis Barbaro. “It is a testament to our concept and our dedication to hospitality. From our first startup ten years ago in Midlothian, Virginia to our current 16 restaurant portfolio, we have never lost sight of our core values of quality, taking care of our people, and giving back to the communities that support us.” To date DJB Hospitality/Sedona Taphouse has donated one million dollars to local charities.
Sedona Taphouse’s concept features hundreds of craft beers, hand-cut steaks, and sustainable seafood in a rustic, polished casual environment. Known for its ‘Dine Out for Charity program and award-winning happy hour, the restaurant chain is a local favorite with six locations in Virginia, three in the New York tri-state region (New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut), two in Pennsylvania, two in Michigan, one in Tennessee, and now, two in Kentucky.
The ‘Dine Out for Charity program takes place every Monday at each store location, where dine-in patrons can purchase a Black Angus flat iron steak (or grilled salmon in select locations) at nearly half off or more. A percentage of the proceeds are donated to the store’s featured charity of the month for every charitable meal sold. In addition to giving back to local charities, it is at the forefront of Sedona Taphouse’s core values to give back to the Heroes in their communities.
Sedona Taphouse also contributes one dollar for every T2T Lemon Basil Martini sold to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, which honors the sacrifice of firefighters and the families of veterans who laid down their lives for our country.
Sedona Taphouse’s menu highlights a variety of handheld items, gluten-free and heart healthy dishes, as well as favorites such as pasta, and wood-grilled selections. While known for its hundreds of craft beers, the restaurant’s beverage menu includes handcrafted cocktails and martinis and a wine list highlighting producers from around the world.
“We go beyond the traditional tap house,” says Barbaro. “Our signature food items; and craft beverage selections are guest favorites, and we have introduced several new items on our menu this year for brunch, lunch, and dinner.”
“Despite the tumultuous environment we have experienced over the past 20 months, we have fared extremely well and are poised for continued growth,” said Barbaro. “We have great franchisee partners and we are proud to have opened 3 new restaurants during the pandemic thus far.”
Inspired by Southwest cuisine, Sedona Taphouse is a casual dining restaurant. The menu features hundreds of craft beers, handcrafted cocktails, and made-from-scratch selections.
