September is shaping up to be an exciting month for the frozen yogurt chain 16 Handles. The lifestyle brand continues to innovate in the frozen yogurt field, this month introducing a new one-of-a-kind flavor and expanding on it’s vegan offerings as well.
Who doesn’t love dunking a good cookie in milk? 16 Handles is taking your love for this classic snack to a new level with Dunk Yo’ Cookies. They’ve crumbled up freshly baked artisan dutch fudge cookies right into your yogurt for a creamy taste that is already flying off the handles.
The self-serve fro yo company is also announcing their new line of smoothies can be made vegan (dairy-free). 16 Handles’ new smoothie line combines artisan frozen yogurt and frozen fruit (no ice to water it down). There are fun flavors like BFF (Strawberry Banana), Tropic Thunder (Mango Pineapple), Brr Berry (Blueberry, Raspberry, Strawberry) and Surf’s Up (Strawberry, Pineapple & Coconut Water sorbet).
16 Handles is an innovative frozen yogurt and dessert brand that encourages guests to Flaunt Their Flavor. Whether guests want a better-for-you snack or an indulgent frozen dessert, 16 Handles offers something for everyone. Founded in 2008 by foodservice industry expert Solomon Choi, 16 Handles was the first frozen yogurt brand to pioneer the self-serve concept in New York City. Today the company has grown to more than 40 locations across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, and Florida and forecasts that 50 stores will be open by the end of 2014. A development deal is also in place for up to 150 stores to open in the Mideast over the next 10 years (see CEO Solomon Choi discussing the deal recently on Bloomberg TV).
Committed to sustainability, 16 Handles uses biodegradable packaging and spoons; each store plants 16 trees per day through a partnership with Trees for the Future. For more information visit http://www.16handles.com, Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/16Handles) or Twitter (@16Handles).
