Shari’s Restaurants Lauded for Top Spot in Water Conservation
Shari’s restaurants, a beloved family restaurant serving the Pacific Northwest with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients in their generously-proportioned meals, is delighted to be recognized by the U.S. Department of Energy for its achievements in water conservation. Shari’s Restaurants achieved the top spot in water conservation with a 37% improvement throughout all of its locations. This impressive feat contributed to 6.3 billion gallons of cumulative water savings from market leaders in the DOE’s Better Buildings Challenge.

Through Better Buildings, DOE partners with leaders in the public and private sectors to make the nation’s homes, commercial buildings, and industrial plants more energy efficient by accelerating investment and the sharing of successful best practices.”
