Smallcakes Cupcakery and Creamery will open its first Phoenix location in Ahwatukee on Saturday September 16th. “We are very excited to open our first location in Phoenix and start frosting the town with happiness” says founder Jeff Martin. Smallcakes will be opening on 43rd/Ray road, nestled in the heart of Ahwatukee.
Smallcakes was founded by Jeff Martin of Kansas City in 2008 and has grown to 200 plus locations offering specialty cupcakes baked fresh daily and small batch ice cream. Martin and Smallcakes have received national recognition with his three appearances on the Food Network’s Cupcake Wars, a feature on the morning television show The View, catering cupcakes to star- studded events such as the MTV Video Music Awards, and being listed as one of the Top Ten Cupcake Places to try in the country by USA Today. Smallcakes was also named one of the top 50 fastest growing companies in 2016.

Jamie & Erica Woolford will be operating the Ahwatukee location. Jamie is a renowned record producer, musician and graph artist, and his business savvy wife Erica have swirled in the latest cupcake craze and baked roots in the quaint suburb of Phoenix, known for promoting small businesses and raising families. “I could not be more thrilled about this location and these owners, nothing is ordinary about this cupcakery and creamery! Not only is it focused on great customer service and supporting musicians, its rock-themed vibe accompanied by its gourmet eats will keep you coming back for more,” says Martin.
Smallcakes offers 12 signature cupcake flavors, with 200 rotating specialty flavors as well as our custom cupcake infused ice cream. Smallcakes makes small batch ice cream daily in every kitchen.
