Smoothie Franchise Celebrates 40 Years with New Logo and Appoints QSR and Ad Agency Veteran David Moore as Vice President, Marketing

Smoothie King’s new brand identity coincides with the celebration of forty years as the nation’s premier smoothie franchise and its global expansion plans that includes 2000 Smoothie King stores by 2017. The revamped logo, created by retail design experts WD Partners, is a nod to Smoothie King’s historic roots while offering a clean, modern approach to health, fitness and community.

Wan Kim purchased Smoothie King in July 2012 and has embarked on a series of evolutions to expand the organization worldwide. In addition to a fresh new look, the company has made critical executive hires including the most recent hire of QSR and ad industry veteran of David Moore, as Vice President of Marketing.

Moore brings a diverse marketing background, both agency and in-house, to the Smoothie King brand. His experience includes working with renowned food brands and agencies including overseeing marketing and advertising for McDonald’s in South East Asia and China with Leo Burnett, Hardee’s Food Systems, Inc. and Pizza Hut.
