Work to include brand development and new prototype designs
Leading retail and restaurant design firm starrdesign has been selected to develop and oversee prototype redesigns to both Original ChopShop and Ruggles Green restaurant concepts.
The scope of work for both restaurants includes brand development, operational analysis, brand architecture, design, architecture and overall concept build out. Majority interest of both Original ChopShop and Ruggles Green were recently acquired by Hargett Hunter Capital Partners, a private investment firm focused on the hospitality industry.

Original ChopShop is a Phoenix-based fast casual concept with three locations. The restaurants serve protein bowls, salads, sandwiches, fresh squeezed juices, acai bowls, and protein shakes.
Ruggles Green was founded in 2008 as a premium fast casual restaurant that offers burgers, salads, pizza and pasta. There are currently five locations in the Houston market and it was the first certified Green Restaurant in Houston.
Jason Morgan, former CFO of Zoës Kitchen, will step into the role of CEO for both brands.
