Station, a Bohemian French restaurant, officially opens this week in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Station offers seasonal menus featuring flavors from the cultures of France and its colonies, all carefully crafted by Eleven Madison Park alum Chef Rue. Curated dishes are served in a casual ambiance inspired by old-world European train station cafés.
“We are thrilled to offer fine-dining in a casual atmosphere welcoming all residents and visitors of Brooklyn,” said Chef Rue. “Williamsburg, Brooklyn is recognized as a dynamic, thriving neighborhood and Station plans to cater to visitors looking for high-quality cuisine whether early or late into the evening.”
In-house mixologists are on-staff to suggest wine and cocktail pairings served from the 22-foot white marble topped bar overlooking the kitchen. The signature cocktail menu features hand-crafted summer libations designed by Rael Petit of the Mulberry Project.
Station boasts an open kitchen and pastry station, encouraging guests to interact with Chef Rue and her staff who welcome any questions regarding dishes, preparation, specials, and recommendations. Cast-iron throwback storefront gates with arched windows fully extend outside for an open air experience. Station further caters to guests by providing a complete separate Vegan menu and all selections can be prepared gluten-free by request.
“Station offers a rustic and authentic experience where guests are encouraged to make themselves comfortable and enjoy a carefully prepared meal. In paying close attention to ambiance, from the décor to the layout, we ensure that dining at Station is an experience extending far beyond simply the cuisine” said Karin Agstam, the designer behind Station.
Station is open for dinner Tuesdays through Saturdays from 5pm-2am, Sundays from 5pm to 12am and for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 4:30pm. Station is located at 166 North 7th Street & Bedford Avenue, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, directly off the Bedford Avenue L train station.
