Anthony Ticconi, a restaurant industry veteran, has joined Sunny Street Café as Director of Franchise Sales.  He will be leading the expansion of the concept into existing markets as well as new territories.

Ticconi brings 25 years of restaurant development experience to Sunny Street Café.  He’s had success in franchise development with the growth of such brands as Mrs. Fields Cookies, Papa Gino’s Pizzeria, D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches, and Steak Escape Sandwich Grill.

“I am very excited to join such an exciting company with the growth potential of Sunny Street Café,” Ticconi said.  “Sunny Street Café is perfectly positioned for expansion.  Their food is delicious, their systems are proven, and they have a strong brand position.”

Ticconi also brings a unique perspective as Director of Franchise Sales, having been a multi-unit franchisee with TCBY Yogurt.  “Because I started my career as a franchisee, I feel a connection with people because I’ve been in their shoes,” Ticconi said.  “It is incredibly rewarding to start the process with an interested individual and watch them go from prospect to franchisee to successful business owner.”

As Director of Franchise Sales, Ticconi will bring his expertise to the recruitment of qualified, energetic prospects with a passion for food.  While his responsibility is nationwide, the initial targeted growth will stem from the Midwest and South, including Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri, Indiana, Tennessee, South Carolina, Texas and Florida.  He will be recruiting single unit as well as multi-unit developers.
