Special night benefits Nationwide Children’s Hospital
Sunny Street Café has partnered with the Ohio Poultry Association for the fourth year in a row to put on “Pjs and Eggs.” On Thursday, October 15 from 5pm until close, Central Ohio Sunny Street locations will be serving “breakfast for dinner” and collecting donations for Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Since 2012 has raised more than $4,000 and collected over 3,200 pairs of pajamas.
“PJs and Eggs offers a unique opportunity for families to support a great cause while wearing their pajamas and enjoying their favorite breakfast dishes for dinner,” Jim Chakeres, executive vice president of the Ohio Poultry Association. “We are proud to once again partner with Sunny Street Café for the fourth year and offer Columbus-area families a fun evening while supporting Nationwide Children’s Hospital.”
Participants of all ages come dressed in their pajamas and enjoy delicious breakfast for dinner. If they bring a pair of pajamas to donate (sizes for newborn to 12 years old) they receive a dozen free Ohio eggs. Nationwide Children’s Hospital will give out the pajamas to children under their care. If participants are unable to attend the event but would still like to donate pajamas, boxes are available at participating restaurants.
