Restaurant Chain Now Offering Franchise Incentives to Veterans
The fast growing breakfast and lunch restaurant chain Sunny Street Café recently announced a new partnership with VetFran, an initiative of the International Franchising Association. The agreement offers a financial discount to veterans who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The new program through VetFran offers the ability to purchase a Sunny Street Café franchise at a 50% discount. The typical franchise fee of $35,000 will now be $17,500, with additional discounts for multi-store and area developer agreements.
“This partnership is great for all those involved,” Moffitt said. “It allows us to offer a significant discount as a sign of appreciation to our military service personnel. It also provides Sunny Street Café the ability to continue our expansion by providing opportunities to new business owners with tremendous leadership and systems skills.”
The International Franchising Association founded the VetFran strategic initiative in 1991. It includes over 580 IFA member companies offering financial incentives, training and mentoring to veterans interested in small business ownership and/or a career path in franchising.

Sunny Street Café operates 13 franchised locations in Ohio, Texas and Missouri.
