Fast Casual Concept Serving South Asian-Inspired Cuisine Rebrands Ahead of Growth
Tava Kitchen, the Bay Area’s expanding fast casual South Asian restaurant concept formerly known as Tava Indian Kitchen, today unveiled its new brand identity in an effort to better represent its refreshed menu of South Asian-inspired cuisine. The Company has launched its new menu format, restaurant design and logo at its Palo Alto location, located in Town and Country Village at 855 EL Camino Real, Suite 162.
The new, simpler logo with geometric tiles reflects the Company’s focus on providing a more welcoming environment that showcases the brand’s unique South Asian cuisine in a contemporary format. The newly redesigned Palo Alto restaurant features clean lines, modern finishes and lots of natural light for a warm and inviting culinary haven for guests of all ages.
The new menu provides a unique culinary twist on flavors from South Asia in every dish, made with only the highest quality ingredients. Tava Kitchen offers signature entrees that can be served with rice or in a wrap with a choice of six proteins: Chicken Tikka Masala, Slow Roasted Chicken, Lamb Meatballs, Braised Beef, Pineapple Glazed Salmon, and Asian Tofu. Guests can choose from savory oven-roasted hot sides, and cold sides featuring an array of fresh vegetables with various South Asian dressings, including:
- Glazed Sweet Potatoes sprinkled with Himalayan pink salt
- Roasted Baby Carrots cooked with cumin and coriander
- Baked New Potatoes dusted with Indian spice
- Mac and Cheese topped with a crisp South Asian bread crumb
- Crunchy Kale and Quinoa with a masala vinaigrette
- Chilled Brussels Sprouts and Grapes with a mint chutney
- Edamame and Noodle Slaw with sesame ginger dressing
- Candied Beet Salad with yogurt dressing
Tava Kitchen will continue to offer its guest favorite stone-baked garlic naan bread, the perfect complement to any meal. The entire menu is also available through the company’s catering program.

In addition to the new entrees and sides, Tava is introducing a line of Kids Meals, making it the perfect destination for a wholesome and convenient family meal. Tava will offer an affordable selection of three kids entrees, served with rice, a choice of fresh fruit or vegetables and organic milk, starting at $5.
Lastly, Tava is adding a new line of house-made lemonades, fresh-squeezed and prepared daily. The three refreshing flavors include Signature Classic, Ginger Lemongrass and Simply Strawberry. It will continue to offer its signature Mango Lassi Smoothie and Cardamom Iced Chai.

The new restaurant is the first location to open with this new design, and all new locations moving forward will feature this menu and design.
